Bachelor's Degree in English, Minor in Journalism

At the University of Tennessee, in Knoxville, I focused on rhetoric, teaching English as a second language, and creative writing. After graduating, I became an adjunct teacher at U.T. for both freshmen composition and business writing classes.
At Southern, I focused on English and Journalism. This degree prepared me for jobs in multiple areas, including copy writing, freelance journalism, editing, teaching English abroad, tutoring, and technical writing.
