Thanks for stopping by!  I created this site to share my work and advertise my writing, editing, and tutoring services.  My goal for this site is to create a writing and thought community.  I use my blog to share writing tips and tricks, as well as photos from my recent travels.  I hope you'll find it interesting and subscribe!

Note: This site is a work in progress.  Isn't everything in life?

Master's Degree in Rhetoric, Writing, and Linguistics
University of Tennessee, Knoxville

Bachelor's Degree in English, Minor in Journalism
Southern Adventist University

At the University of Tennessee, in Knoxville, I focused on rhetoric, teaching English as a second language, and creative writing.  After graduating, I became an adjunct teacher at U.T. for both freshmen composition and business writing classes.

At Southern, I focused on English and Journalism. This degree prepared me for jobs in multiple areas, including copy writing, freelance journalism, editing, teaching English abroad, tutoring, and technical writing.
